You CAN build your own website and have it be successful! My little website, massagenorthampton.com, gets over 1000 visits per month. Not bad for a website that I built myself for a local service business. How did I do it? Site Build It (SBI!) helped me every step of the way.

SBI! walked me through step-by-step from brainstorming to writing content to publishing pages online. SBI! made very very easy work of submitting pages to the major search engines. I just sit back and check out my statistics (which they provide me with as well).

It really does simply make sense for anyone looking to get online to check out SBI! It is NOT Get Rich Quick!! It is not full of gimmicks! SBI! actually delivers all the tools you need to build a quality, successful website that will rank extremely high with the search engines.

Don’t just take my word for it … check out some of these pages:

Is SBI! NECESSARY IN ORDER TO SUCCEED?

SBI! is NOT absolutely essential to build your own long- lasting, growing e-business, but it does give you THE greatest chance of success, by far. Still, it may not be for you. Consider the following…

If your goal is just to have a blog, or if it’s just to socialize, you don’t need SBI!. You have a nice hobby.

If you prefer to play games and “fool” Google with the latest Search Engine tricks (like creating fake link networks), SBI!’s not for you, but understand that no engine tricks have ever LASTED. None. They all get beaten, followed by much gnashing of teeth and wailing by those who thought they were going to fool the engines forever.

If you’re already very successful, congratulations! You have figured it all out. You’re doing it all right, with a solid process, all the right tools, etc.You don’t need SBI!. Recognize, though, that you are the 1 in a 1000 exception. And if you’re blogging, you’re the 1 in 2,000 exception…

Blog or Build A Website?

Most people really would do much better with SBI!.

If you’re suspicious that SBI! must be “too good to be true,” that natural feeling comes from all the “Get Rich Quick” and fraudulent game-playing schemers out there. But ask yourself if you have ever seen as much proof of success, and if the SBI! forums could be such THE most positive, help-and-be-helped force in e-business.

If you’re very tech-oriented, you may feel that SBI! is a toy for newbies (kind of like techs used to think about the Macintosh computer because it was easy to use). If you’re not open to changing the way you work in order to succeed (and I have no doubt you WOULD succeed if you were willing to adjust your habits), then SBI! is not right for you.

If, despite the process/all-the-tools/constant-updating, you believe that $299 is too expensive and you’d prefer to try cheap hosting and figure-it-all-out-on-your-own (info and tools and updating), then go for it. You will end up spending more on tools here and there, on countless pitches you’ll face along the way. And in the end, the vast majority who take this route fail…People need the process and tools and constant updating, all simplified into a do-able step-by-step. It takes some longer to discover that. And that’s fine. When you do realize it, you’ll be ready for the 7th and final “if”…

If you fit into one or more of the above scenarios and have yet to build a an e-business that will spin off increasing income on a long-term basis, simply give SBI! a try.

Yup. Don’t decide “for sure” now. Just try it…

The Guarantee turns it into a risk-free trial. You may indeed find out that SBI! is not for you. Just refund. See the guarantee towards the bottom of the Order Page…

Order Page

They absolutely honor that guarantee. More than that, if you feel SBI! is NOT for you, they WANT to refund you. Why?

It’s part of how they build that amazingly positive, productive and successful community of people who make their forums what it is today. So if you’re not right for it, then it’s not right for you. Part ways happy.

Somehow, though, I think you’re going to love it, like the vast majority of SBIers do. Don’t put it off. Just do it.

I like the author’s facia talk.

… CST works on the fascial system.

Fascia is an important connective tissue that joins every part of the human body – from the layers of skin to the bones and structure in between. In more ways than one, the knee bone really is connected to the hip bone.

In the same way a chain linked necklace is pushed together to loosen a knot, gentle application of fascial work on the nervous system aids release of dural tube restrictions for the central nervous system’s interaction with the rest of the body, allowing the body to self correct.

One woman’s experience with CranioSacral Therapy.

Speaking about her CranioSacral sessions, Diana says,

It was in the middle of one of Wes’s sessions that fluidity of thought returned to me. On another breakthrough day, after an hour’s session, my night vision suddenly improved and I could drive during darkness again! And Wes also finished what my physical therapist had started. He got my right arm to extend above my head—something a doctor initially told me I would never regain.

While CranioSacral Therapy is a little different than ” a rhythmic scalp massage and gentle pulling of the hair,” I can see where it might feel like that at times. But this is a great story about how CranioSacral can help get to the root of the issue and help support the body’s release so it can move in the direction of health and balance.

Yup. That’s right. I completed my certification process on Thursday August 7, 2008! I spoke about my written exam and a bit about the certification process in this previous post.

I was unable to take my practical exam with the examiner in my city. But I believe it happened for a reason. I tested with an examiner/instructor whom I admire greatly. I have been a teaching assistant for his CranioSacral Therapy Level One class and he was my instructor for The Brain Speaks class I attended in March.

It was truly a wonderful day. He was very impressed with my work and knowledge of the material. He also asked if I was considering becoming an Upledger CranioSacral Therapy Instructor. Wow. What a compliment.

What’s next from here? First, I still need to let this sink in. I still smile from ear to ear when I think about being certified. Out of over 80,000 trained therapists around the world there are only just over 700 certified. In the US out of over 60,000 trained therapists there are just over 400 certified. And in Massachusetts I am one of 16 certified CranioSacral Therapists.

I’m going to spend a little time focusing on growing my CranioSacral practice. As that begins to grow, I plan to do more informational meetings and one-day trainings in the area, possibly at some massage schools. I will be working on honing my skills and presentation abilities to work toward teaching the 2-day Introduction class. Once I get there, who knows where I will go …

But for now, I just smile a lot and share the wonderful news with everyone I run into.

I have been reading Peter Levine’s book, Waking The Tiger: Healing Trauma. One of our CranioSacral Therapy instructors mentions this book in several classes. So, I thought it was time to buy it and read it. It has been a fascinating, very educational book about how trauma, of any kind, can get stuck in the nervous system of the body.

This paragraph was at the end of a chapter I finished tho other day and the words resonated with me so much that I had to mark the page. I read this paragraph every time I pick up the book to continue reading. I think what sticks with me so much about this paragraph is that it sums up my belief as a CranioSacral Therapist and my belief about the body’s self healing abilities.

As a CranioSacral Therapist, my ‘job’ is to connect with my client on the table in a way that allows me to simply support what self healing he/she needs on that particular day. I do not do the work (or the healing)! The client’s body does all the work. I am simply there to help facilitate areas that may be stuck and not allowing full healing or resolution to occur.

This is an important distinction about CranioSacral Therapy from other therapies out there. A lot of therapies are done to or on a client; putting the healing responsibility on the therapist or doctor. CranioSacral Therapy works with the clients body to evaluate what that person’s body needs to truly resolve a trauma or release a restriction that is causing symptoms. The therapist has no responsibility other than evaluating and listening to what the client’s body needs and supporting the client through the process of release. In CranioSacral Therapy the client is the healer, not the therapist. It is very empowering to the client to regain control of his/her health.

So, here’s the paragraph that inspired me to write this post …

Because every injury exists within life and life is constantly renewing itself, within every injury is the seed of healing and renewal. At the moment our skin is cut or punctured by a foreign object, a magnificent and precise series of biochemical events is orchestrated through evolutionary wisdom. The body has been designed to renew itself through continuous self-correction. The same principles apply to the healing of the psyche, spirit, and soul.
